Leadership and Management in the Food Industry

FIRM PhD graduates are employed at senior level, not only in the food industry but also in the Health

Service Executive and the Food Safety sector.  This module has been designed to help young graduates meet

the requirements of these roles.

This module will help PhD and MSc students develop skills in working within teams and working as a

leader, skills which will be needed whatever career path emerges for each graduate. Also included in this

module are management skills including management of your own career, project management and managing

people skills.
